Ruffled Ribbon on acrylic

I drooled over these ruffled ribbon strips from Pink Paislee

I only wish they came in 100-ft. rolls LOL.  When I see a product like this, I immediately think of “scenes” to use it in…not just across the front of a card like normal ribbon, but re-creating something from the world, onto a card or album cover.  On this 8×8 Tabbed acrylic album from Clear Scraps, I used the ribbon as both a top curtain and the ruffles on a beautiful prom dress.   The prom dress was made with 3 layers of this ribbon and the ends are tucked underneath before the dress form is attached to the album cover.

In addition to the Pink Paislee paper and ribbon on this album cover, I’ve used scalloped velvet ribbon from Cosmo Cricket, Extreme Adhesive Squares from Glue Arts, a rub-on from Fancy Pants, silver ink from Tsukinecko and alphabet stickers from SEI.

Thanks!

I guess I a lot like you, always trying to think outside the box especially with ribbons and trims. Cute idea to share.
