I hope your holidays and Christmas spent with family, friends, and loved ones was everything happy and more. Leah back again with you today, to show you the rest of my idea using the Mini Deco Album from Clear Scraps. If you missed part 1, you can find it here.
Now I love mini albums, but I also love large photos. My daughter looked so festive with her trumpet decorated while wearing her santa hat, that I wanted to have a large focal photo on the subject of her first parade. I decided using a Clear Scrap XL Deco shape was the way to go, of course the Clear Scraps 12×12 acrylic sheet would have worked lovely too.
I added two pieces of pattern paper to the backside of the XL Deco shape, then added my photo to the front. From there, I added the year, title, and stickers.
With the mini album, I took out the jumpring, and closed it together with satin ribbon and a loose knot. I then punched a hole in the acrylic sheet using my crop o dile. I then threaded the ribbon through that hole, and I was done.
Not only do I have the larger focal photo that I love, I also have created an interactive layout by attaching the mini deco album to the layout.
This would work great for all those holiday photos you took!!
