Clear Scraps Project Post

Hello once again fellow crafters!  Kay here with my latest project using fabulous products by Clear Scraps.  For this layout I've used the Large Expressions Clear Word Title 'Love' & one of Clear Scraps latest products, the 6" Quarterfoil mascil.

This would be my husband & I with our newborn son.  Our son was about 3 days old when this photo was taken at the hospital where he was born.  It was our first 'family' photo & for me, it was the day that our family was 'complete'–which is what inspired the title.

Here's a closeup of the 6" Quarterfoil mascil.  I used Pumice Stone Distress ink and with a makeup sponge inked the mascil design onto my background.  I randomly added dots of Silver Stickles to further dress up the mascil imprint.

I cut the large acrylic title between the 'O' & the 'V'–so basically I cut the word 'Love' in half.  Next I covered all the letters with designer paper.  I sanded down all the edges of the letters in order to smooth them out.  Finally I highlighted the border of each letter with a white gel pen and a bit of Star Dust Stickles.
