Metallics and Clear Scraps!

Hey bloggers Rita Barakat here with some
fun techniques to try with  Clear Scraps!
First grab your stencil, PITT Artist pens and some
sponges and make your faux wood background.  I started with burlap
looking paper (from DCWV) – the pattern added more "texture" to the piece.
Stick you Clear Scraps Expressions title and
banners through your embossing folder- any will do.
Add gesso randomly and allow to dry completely.
Use Gelatos to scribble across the top of your title, rub it in with a sponge or your finger.
You get this cool metallic look…
Choose silver, grey and black to do the same for the banner pieces.
Get a pearl pen to add some shine on top ( I used my finger.)
Then added some on the sides of the title.
I really liked how it came out – looks even better in real life!
Metallic colors  are hot right now, so I hope you will give this a try!
