ATC using the Clear Cards and Alcohol Inks

Final - Signed

Can I just say that I am in total love with these simple yet elegant clear cards! This one will end up going into my Project Life book.

For this card I used a multiple amount of items, and this is how I used them.

To start with, the add a little bit of definition to the clear card I used the Shattered Glass stencil along with some Archival Black Ink from Ranger to create the simple, translucent background. To create the rainbow Butterfly Embelishment I used two Ranger Alcohol Inks – Wild Plum and Stream. I simply placed two drops of each randomly on the butterfly allowing the ink to spread. I then used my heat gun to spead and mix the colors even more. The trick to using the heat gun is knowing when to stop. If you can see it in the picture – you will notice that the edges curled on the butterfly, but it gives it a wonderful organic look. I then stamped the word "imagine" from an unknown stamp set, and then adhered three tiny rhinestones using Glossy Accents – which is perfect for clear projects!

If you have any questions at all, please let me know! I will try to help you in any way possible!
