Spring Mixable Album

Hello! Jennifer here on the blog today! I'm happy to show a mini album I created for Easter using the Spring Mixable Album! Each page has a different shape with alternating acrylic and chipboard!

I also used the new Flower and Butterfly Mixers on the front of my album. The flowers are colored with glitter paint from Art Anthology and I added buttons to the centers. I chose Ranger Alcohol Ink in Butterscotch to color the butterfly.

Next, I'm going to show how I colored the front of my album. First, I used Ranger Alcohol ink in Pool covering the entire surface of the acrylic.

Taking the 6 Inch Diamond Mascil, I applied Art Anthology Glitter Paint. I chose to apply it before the alcohol ink was completely dry so the blue color mixes with the glitter paint. (note: I use washi tape to hold my Mascil in place before applying paint/ink).

And here is a close up of the effect! Don't be afraid to play around with different mediums! You may be happily surprised and your result!

The second page is chipboard flowers with two circles cut out as the centers. I adhered patterned paper to the back of the page and added circles to the centers where I placed my photos. I used a circle punch to add different patterns in each "petal".

This acrylic page is in the shape of a flower on a stem. I chose to leave most of it bare and having my photos/embellishments mirror each other.
