Have you tried using Clear Scraps wordings mascil? It is called the "Fruit of the Spirit" mascil. It comes in 6"x6" and 12"x12". Recently, I've played with it a lot and love using them to create titles on my layouts.
Simply just use some inks and the mascil to create your title wherever you want and you can make it as opaque or as translucent as you want.
On this layout, I've also used a banner mixer. I've first used some black ink to mask the banner to create the shadow beneath the acrylic banner.
