Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi there, Lisa here today to bring you a beautiful Photo Mother's Day card that Mom will be proud to display. Shhhh..don't tell my Mom this is for her!!

The card is created on a 6 x 12 piece of cardstock that I folded in half and misted with our 6" Quarterfoil Mask and Heidi Swapp Navy Mist.  I then used Heidi's Gold mist to create the first layer of color on our Flower Mixer and an Oval Frame Mixer.  When the first layer dried, I added another layer of Gold to the Oval Frame and then used a peach mist on the flowers and a green mist on the leaves.  I love how multiple layers of mist build such a pretty glimmery effect on our mixers!!  I then fussy cut a photo of my girls to fit behind the frame and built the card.  I used Zip Dry adhesive by Beacon for the beautifully clear look that works so well over photos and when layering multiple mixers upon each other.
