This year the Clear Scrap Design Team has been sharing their word of the year. After a bit of soul searching I decided my word should be BREATHE. Its a reminder to me to slow down, take a deep breath, enjoy the happy moments and not stress about the bad ones. Sometimes all you can do is BREATHE and know that you’ll make it through.
Directions:
1. Paint chipboard backing. I literally poured my paints onto the chipboard and brushed it out haphazardly. I didn’t worry about blending everything perfectly because I knew I was going to be building up layers with stenciling.
2. Using the Spiral Dot Mascil, stencil paints onto the chipboard.
3. Next stencil another color of paint onto the chipboard using the 6 inch Quarterfoil mascil.
4. Stamp on the front of the acrylic word board with white Stazon.
5. Flip the acrylic word board over and sand the back to create a frosted look.
6. Ink the edges with white StazOn
7. Stamp images in Versamark and emboss with white embossing powder on vellum. Cut out and adhere to acrylic word board.
8. Paint chipboard photo frames. Stamp. Adhere to acrylic word board.
