Halloween Cards by Pinky Part Two!

Help again friends, it's Pinky once again and if you saw yesterday's post you know I used the new Spider and Spiderweb Chipboard Embellishments to create two Window Cards, well I wanted to show you what I used them for before I made those cards!Halloween Spider Acrylic Cards Spray Paint Pinky Hobbs1

I actually painted the chipboard and as I did I used it as a stencil on Clear Scraps Acrylic.

Then I trimmed out the acrylic in the exact shape of the sprayed stencil.

I used a Pearl Pen to add glitter to the acrylic. (I used the shiner side on the outside of course).

You can see the card has a "spooky" effect from the spray paint, I kind of misted it lighter then I normally would have for that grayish look.

I trimmed out patterned paper except I left about 1" at the top to fold over.

I used a border punch to create the scalloped edge, then folded it over and adhered it using Beacon Zip Dry.

You can see if you use a Pearl Pen then it still shows through the acrylic in a cool silver color. So fun for Halloween or just a spooky night.

Now the card is ready to write in and send, for the darker spider card it would be very pretty to write in with a silver sharpie or even gold metallic!

I hope you liked my dual card ideas, and please do share your projects on FB.
