December Tag – Nancy

hi everyone!  nancy here today to share with you a tag i had made for christmas.  yes, i know i am a bit late, but better late than never….and besides, you can always get a jump on next year.  hee hee

to begin the tag i misted some burlap through the 6" damask mascil. before removing the mascil from the burlap, be sure and blot the stencil…this will help with the bleeding.

next, i covered my chipboard tag with some patterned paper i had in my stash.  clear scraps chipboard is nice and sturdy and will easily hold up to whatever type of adhesive you choose.

then i created a poinsettia with the clear scraps clear craft sheets and the tim holtz tattered poinsettia die.

after cutting the poinsettia, i inked it using a few different colors of stazon ink.  don't forget to remove the protective coating from the acrylic.

finally it was time to layer the tag.  first the layer of burlap.
