Hello friends! Jennifer here with my tag for August! I have an easy tutorial too to add color and contrast to your Acrylic Tag!
I began with three coordinating colors in Ranger Alcohol Ink! Alcohol ink is the easiest way to color your acrylic! I started with the darkest color on the bottom of my tag followed by each lighter color going up. The edges between your colors do not have to be perfect! Feel free to blend as much as you feel necessary.
Once dry, I flipped my tag over so I could add papers and embellishments! I wanted to add a little contrast to my tag so I used a fun hand drawn star stamp and Staz On Ink in black! Just like the alcohol ink, you want to use an ink that is not water based to prevent smearing.
Here is a close up of the stamped stars!
I popped up the chipboard globe with foam tape as well as added some light blue thread under. To finish, I decorated with a metal star pin!
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! Be sure to check out the design teams' tags throughout the month for more inspiration! Have a wonderful day!
