October Tag with Jennifer

Hello! I can't believe its October already! Time flies but I'm definitely excited for this month as Halloween is one of my favorite holidays!   Today, I'm sharing my spooky-themed tag I created using one of the acrylic tags from the Acrylic Tag Album and a Ghost Chipboard Embellishment!

I started with inking my acrylic with Ranger Alcohol Ink in Pitch Black.  Alcohol ink is the go-to when it comes to applying color to Clear Scraps acrylic because 1) it is solvent based and the color will "stick" and 2) it dries fast!

Did you know you can apply spray paint to your acrylic? I used Krylon's Marbled Spray in Gold. It gives my tag a "spider web" feel! I set it aside to dry so I could work on my Chipboard Ghost!

Our fearless leader, Susan, showed me the loveliness that is Inka Gold! Here, I used Inka Gold in Pewter to color my ghost.  Inka Gold is like a paste/mousse that is waxed based and can be applied to chipboard or paper.   And the more you rub the ink results in extra shimmer!  I used a patterned paper to back the eyes in my ghost before adhering him to the front of my tag.

I used a rosette die and bakers twine to set my Chipboard Ghost as well as added a decorative pin and stamped "Boo!".  I also added in some orange and black decorative buttons to finish.
