Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi everyone!  Nancy here today to share with you another new product from Clear Scraps, the Love Wood Birch Frame.  This is the third wall project I did using these new wood products, there are also wood accordion albums, and if you would like to see those you can check them out here(heart palette) and here(family frame). This time I chose to keep  it super simple.

I kept the wood in its natural form and simply dry brushed some white acrylic paint to highlight a few areas.  Then, using some older rub ons, applied them to highlight certain aspects of the photo frames and letters.

The rub ons worked great on the naked wood.  The wood really grabbed hold.  Then, I created a few flower groupings, added my photos, and was done.

I love the way this hangs on the wall of my office, reminding me of when those special days when the children were young.
