Hello everyone. Heather here, and I'm back to share a tutorial I created for a tag I made for the rad Dad in our lives. Father's Day will be here before you know it, and I'm always giving him traditional cards but this time I wanted to do something different.
I started with a chipboard tag from the Clear Scraps Chipboard Album and I used the Gears Stencil to create a masculine background for my tag.
Then I trimmed and adhered a 4×4 piece of coordinating patterned paper to the bottom of the tag, and I sanded the extra paper off before inking around the edges of it.
After that, I backed a thin border sticker with matching solid cardstock before adhering it to my tag and sanding the edges again.
Once that was down, I started adding embellishments. I used the Clear Scraps Gears Mirror Embellishments to add some major manly vibes.

I added a few more stickers from Echo Park's Off Road collection, and a title. I finished it all off with a few pieces of trim from my stash.
Now I have a creative Father's Day gift for my husband. The kids want to take him out to dinner, so I'm planning to use pop dots to attach a gift card to the back. Thank you so much for stopping by.
