Mixable Beach Album

Hi friends! It's Jennifer and I'm sharing the another mini album with you today with you!  Summer is in full swing here in the US and that usually means vacations!  The Mixable Beach Album has five cascading pages of fun, summer shapes of both acrylic and chipboard! Did you know you can use spray paint on Clear Scraps products? For my album, I  used a gold foil paint on both sides of the acrylic.

The front piece of the album is a cute acrylic shovel.  I  added one of the Fan-Shells Chipboard Embellishments to the front that I  painted as well as used a white glitter embossing powder to color.

For my journaling, I  cut down one of the 3×4 cards from the paper collection I  used. I  then added stickers and enamel dots to accent.

My chipboard pages are covered entirely in patterned paper which I  adhered with Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive. I  used an x-acto knife as well as a sanding tool to remove the excess paper. I  then lined the edges with white chalk paint. Here, I  used my second Fan-Shell Chipboard Embellishment to accent my page.  I again painted it with white chalk paint and colored with embossing powder.

The smaller pages will fit a 4×4 photo. I  also layered additional patterned paper underneath as well as added coordinating stickers.

The next page is an acrylic sand pail. I adhered patterned paper to the bottom and again used a 4×4 photo.  Since you have a smaller space to work with, using small embellishments such as washi tape or enamel dots make a nice accent. I also utilized my many roller stamps and added in additional sentiments that way.

Using your punches to create borders at the edge of your photos is also a good way to accent a small workspace.  Here, I  used my pennant punch to create a banner under my photo then adhered bakers twine to the top.

A chipboard circle/ball is the next page and fits a larger photo. I  again covered the page with patterned paper before adding my photo and embellishments.

The last page is a fun acrylic sand castle which is the largest page of the book!  The photo I wanted to use was vertical so I used the space to create a pinwheel with a favorite paper from the collection.

On the back, I  added a coordinating sticker as well as a stamped journaling circle to add my name.
