Ghost Mini Pallet Shape Plant Poke

Happy Halloween! Jennifer on the blog today to share a "spooky" project using the new Ghost Mini Pallet Shape!  I  am loving these smaller versions of the wood pallets as they are so fun to work with!  And they make a great accent for  your project!  I  had the idea that a plant poke with the ghost would look cute in a plant or your outside mums!

I    began by painting my mini pallet with white acrylic paint.  While allowing to dry, I  fashioned a paper fan out of a fun Halloween print to go behind my Ghost Mini Pallet Shape.  Using a hot glue gun, I  adhered some glittery orange tulle onto the front  of my fan before affixing the pallet shape.  I  then accented with a couple decorative pins.  To create my face, I  used a cut file on my Silhouette as well as black card stock.

I  had some leftover wood sticks from a photo prop kit I  had purchased to use as my handle.  I  added a couple coats of acrylic black paint so it would stand out.  Once dry, I  held the stick in place using double sided tape then adhered with my hot glue gun.  Lastly, I    tied some purple and orange ribbon to the base of the paper fan.

You can be as simple or elaborate as you want with this project! I  even thought this would be a fun craft for older kids!
