Hello Clear Scraps friends! I am excited to share with you today a fun snowman pallet I put together using one of our new pallet shapes and chalk paint.
I started out by painting the wooden snowman pallet a navy blue. Once that was dry I rubbed a wax candle all over the front of it. This creates a resist for distressing later. Then paint a cream chalk paint over the top of the wax coating.
Once the paint dried I took a scouring pad from the kitchen and started to distress the area of the snowman where I wanted the navy blue paint to show thru. If I messed up and rubbed too hard, I just repainted and work the area again to achieve the desired look.
When I had the desired look I wanted I finished my snowman off by decoration with a felt hat I cutout, ribbon, embellishments, flannel scarf and painting a red heart from wood.
Super easy to do! Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy project.
