Hello and happy Monday! It's Jennifer on the blog today to share a mini album I created using the Paws Wood Card set. The Wood Cards have so many options as far as projects go. For mine, I documented favorite kitten photos of our cats Hazel and Oliver.
I painted my Wood Cards with chalk paint in Patina Blue first. Chalk paint works wonderful with the birch wood as it dries quickly and looks smooth. I then used patterned paper and coordinating stickers to adorn the front of my Card, leaving the paws "open" to show the next pages.
I had the idea to use acrylic for my pages and decided to use tags from the Acrylic Tag Album. I cut approximately 1/4 of an inch off the ends so they would fit in my album. I then tied different colors of seam binding at the end of my tags to add color.
I cut my photos down to 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 to fit my pages and then added my embellishments.
I like to add extra pages to my albums such as envelopes or bags. Here, I used a kraft envelope which I adhered some tulle ribbon around the flap.
This gives room to add extra photos, journaling or embellishments! I don't use my stamps nearly enough so using a fun sentiment was perfect for my pages!
