Pumpkin Pallet~

Hi, Connie here with a cute and fun project using the Pumpkin Pallet shape by Clear Scraps.  This is one of two pallet pumpkins Clear Scraps makes.  The pumpkins together would make great fall decor for your home.  One pumpkin is pretty fun too!  Let me show you~

Instructions:

  1. Sand the pallet shape lightly before adding color.  Wipe down with a soft rag.
  2. Water color (paint) down so it looks like a stain mix.  Apply to pallet and let dry.

      3.  Paint stem (same technique) and let dry.
      4.  Add vine (free hand or with a stencil) ~Clear Scraps has some awesome leaf and vines that would be great for this.

       5.  Stencil word in center of pallet.  I use foam round brushes and dab off paint. Less is more in this case.  More (the acrylic paint) will end up going under the stencil making a                       mess on the project.
       6.  Sand pallet lightly for a distressed look.  Wipe with a soft cloth.
       7.  Speckle with black watered down acrylic paint.
       8.  Seal project with arylic mat or gloss sealer.
