Christmas Countdown Mini Album

Hello! It's Jennifer on the blog today! It's hard to believe December is almost here!  Every year I  like to do a Christmas countdown or "December Daily" album.  I  used the tabbed album from the Acrylic Recipe Stand 4×6 Kit. There are 10 pages in this album: 5 acrylic and 5 chipboard! I  actually turned the album vertical for something different! Each page measures approximately 4×6 inches which is perfect for most photos!

I  covered each page with patterned papers followed by a piece of cardstock to mat future photos.  I  then layered embellishments on and around the photo area.

I  used a cut file with white cardstock to create my countdown numbers. On the acrylic pages, I  placed my numbers on the circle tab backing it with a contrasting patterned paper (this is where my circle hand punch came in handy!).  For the chipboard pages, I  tried to stay with the circle them by using a coordinating embellishment or again utilizing my circle hand punch.

I  did insert extra pages so I  would have enough for my numbers.  Here, I  used a kraft envelope that I  embellished on both sides.

I  also like to use glassine bags as extra pages as well! They are inexpensive but have a classy look!

I  had an idea to try to still use my acrylic stand by turning it on its side but it did not quite work out.  However, I  can still use the stand for a future project!  Hope this inspires you to do a Christmas album of your own using Clear Scraps!  Have a great day!
