Xmas Tree w/Star Wood Pallet

Good morning Clear Scraps, friends! Leah here with you today sharing the Xmas Tree w/star Pallet shape! It's the perfect home decor item for the season.

To start, I painted the trunk of the tree in an antique brown wax stain.

Then I used a gel stain in green to lightly paint the tree.

Do you see that glorious wood grain showing through? I love it!

I then took a whitewash and applied it to the tree to add a distressed look.

While that dried, I painted the star in a yellow chalk paint.

I used found items from the dollar store such as the metal star, snowflakes, and garland beads as my embellishments.

I arranged them before hot gluing them down.

Stay tuned, you'll be seeing more cuteness with this tree this month. 🙂
