Snowman Mini Wood Pallet Shape Wreath

Hello friends and happy Thursday! It is hard to believe Christmas is a little less than two weeks away!  I  know here in Central Illinois many wish for a white Christmas! I  actually dream of a 70 degree and sunny Christmas, but I  can't help but love the Snowman Mini Wood Pallet Shape! It's so adorable! I  first thought I  would create a cute little ornament for the tree but then had the idea to make a winter-themed wreath!

I   began by painting my Snowman Mini Pallet Shape with a white chalk paint. Chalk paint is one of my favorites to use with Clear Scraps Wood Products because it looks great on the birch! Plus, it dries quickly!   I  wanted to add a patterned paper as the hat, so using a liquid adhesive, I  applied a strip as shown.

Using scissors and an x-acto knife, I  cut away excess paper.  I  then used my sanding tool to smooth any edges.  Finally, I  was ready to add embellishments to my Snowman!

For my wreath, I  used an embroidery hoop with some beautiful shimmer blue ribbon. I  even added the same ribbon as the scarf on my Snowman Pallet Shape. Next I  used my hot glue gun to affix the Snowman to the bottom center of the wreath.  I  also adhered  smaller embellishments from the collection I  used around the wreath's inner circle.
