Hello! Happy Friday! It's also a new month which means we are closer to spring! After the deep freeze the Midwest had this week I am so ready! Today, I'm sharing the Flower DIY Pallet Shape that I created as a fun spring-themed door hanger!
I began by painting my pallet with chalk paint in patina. It's a nice bright color for spring! I also painted the new Welcome XL Script Wood Word in white acrylic paint. These are perfect for the new pallet shapes or to be the centerpiece of a layout or art project! After allowing my paint to dry, I sanded the top of the my Wood Word to give it a distressed look.
For accent, I used my Silhouette to cut rolled flowers in different sizes to cluster around my Wood Word. I also added in paper flowers from my stash, as well.
For my leaves, I used a wood grain patterned paper which I thought was great contrast! After finishing, I used my Crop-o-dile to punch holes at the top of my Wood Pallet. I then threaded white seam binding through to create a way to hang my Pallet on the door!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you will check out the new Pallet Shapes by going HERE! Have a great day!
