Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi, Connie here with a decor piece, for your home, and just in time for Spring.  I created this with the Lrg. Bunny Pallet shape by Clear Scraps.   This shape is perfect for  front door decorations, I can even see using it in a garden of flowers.

This is a pretty simple project to create.  I love quick and easy and looking fabulous!!!  Start by painting the bunny pallet with acrylic paint.  Let dry and then sand down the edges and sides, to give the pallet a distress look.  Watering down the paint will help with the distressed look also.   The next process is adding the stencil pattern, to random spots, on the bunny pallet.   I chose a pink and blue acrylic paint that coordinated well with the bright green paint I used on the bunny.

Speckle with white acrylic paint.  I love to water the paint down and use a tooth brush to splatter.  So easy to control the paint splatters this way.

I used paper ribbon to create the bow for around the bunny's neck,  bringing in all three colors used, green, pink and blue.  I used a darker shade of blue to paint the chipboard kite with.  I stenciled over the kite with the plaid stencil that I used on the bunny pallet.  The kite was then attached to the center of the paper bow.  The last thing I did was I added a small white heart (painted) to the bottom right corner of the bunny.  Add holes to the ears for a hanger.  I used the crop-a-dile tool for this.
