Hello friends and happy April! I can't believe spring is almost here! That means that it won't be long until people are taking vacations and road trips! Today I'm sharing the Camper DIY Pallet Shape that I created into a cute welcome sign!
I began by painting the majority of the pallet in a fun turquoise chalk paint! I then used painters tape to section off the wheel and hitch to paint both black. I thought the Basic Door Chipboard Embellishment would be a cute add on! I first painted the chipboard with black acrylic paint ensuring to cover all of the edges.
Once my paint was dry, I used a glitter black embossing powder to add some shine to my door! This is an easy and fun technique to use on any of the Clear Scraps Chipboard Embellishments!
And here is the end result! I added some patterned paper behind the "window" of the door as well as added embellishments.
I've seen many of the camper prints and cut files that have banners across the top. They are an easy and eye catching embellishment to add to any project! I used a hand punch with different patterns and adhered across the top using pop dots. I then applied my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive to the top of the pennants to add bakers twine to finish.
Here, I created a little window out of cardstock and a few embellishments. I made the awning using a border punch and some patterned paper…very easy to do!
I used my Silhouette and black vinyl to create this welcome title for my camper. Using transfer tape, I placed it to the right of the door.
Last, I used my Big Bite hole punch at the top so I could string ribbon to hang my pallet! If you do not want to use this option, easels work great as well!
