Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi, Connie here with a cute project, that is perfect for the Summer months!!!   Canvas bags (think beach bag) stenciled with the very trendy, Farmhouse stencils by Clear Scraps!  These are really easy, so easy you could make these with your children.  Great craft project!!!

Here is a collage of photos showing the steps taken to create this canvas beach bag~

Instructions:
1. Iron the canvas bag flat, getting out all the wrinkles.
2. Place a cardboard inside the bag (so paint doesn't damage the backside of the canvas bag).
3. Lay the stencil, over the front of the canvas bag, and gently add acrylic paint with a foam brush.
4. Start off with a small amount of paint. When the script word is filled in with paint, gently lift up on the stencil.

I added the 12" Beach Fun Stencil for the flip flops.   I created a couple more bags using the Farmhouse Stencils.

The process for creating is the same as above, just a different stencil. 
 

These bags would make great goody bags for teachers, best friends, church friends and all of those in the middle.  I can see this one full of different coffee's, travel coffee mug and chocolate.  Everyone loves chocolate!!!
