Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi everyone!

Thanks for joining me for this project.

I love creating embellishments that I can use on various projects.

I love chipboard embellishments the most.

They are sturdy and can be used on just about anything from cards to layouts to altered items.

Today I have taken the Lamp Post Chipboard embellishments and decorated them up.

I love shabby chic so I gave these embellishments the shabby treatment.

I painted them with some chocolate bar acrylic paint first.

Once that was dried I painted on some crackle medium, letting that dry before

adding my ivory paint.  I got a very nice crackle effect.

I took some distress ink to make the cracks pop even more.

Once everything was dried really well, I added some string pearls, blue seam binding, 

and some very small blue flowers.

I added some glossy accents to which would be the globes of the lamp posts.

These came out awesome!

Now I have some great shabby chic embellishments for my next project!
