Hello friends! Jennifer here to share a Halloween mini album I created using the 6×6 Acrylic Tab Album. The focal point of my front cover is the new Pumpkin Wood Mini Pallet Shape! Halloween is probably my favorite holiday so I decided to make a "13 Days of October" book….much like a Daily December!
For my Pumpkin Wood Mini Pallet Shape, I began by painting with chalk paint in black. Once dry, I added a couple heavy layers of chunky glitter gold paint over the top. I love the effect and it brought a lot of shine to the pallet! I then added some stickers from the collection I used to accent.
For each acrylic page, I colored the outside edges with alcohol ink in orange. Alcohol ink is the fastest and easiest way to add color to your acrylic! The ink dries quickly and does not smudge; anything solvent based will work!
I cut my background papers to 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches to fit the pages as well as to allow the alcohol ink to show. I also inserted extra pages such as this kraft envelope I had in my stash.
Here, I folded down a glassine bag to use as another extra page.
I also love to utilize my 12×12 Acrylic Sheets to add in pages! I trimmed a sheet down to 4×5 1/2 inches and colored with black alcohol ink.
