Hello everyone… Thanksgiving is about 2 weeks away and today I would love to share this "Simply Blessed" Pumpkin Pallet home decor with you all.

I really enjoyed making this home decor sign using the Large Pumpkin DIY Pallet Shape and the Simply Blessed 6×16 Stencil.

This pumpkin shaped pallet wood is ready to use. I painted it with multi-surface acrylic paints (orange, light orange, yellow, and brown). I painted it and mixed the colors at the same time to create some shades on the pumpkin.

After the paint dried, I sanded all the edges with sand paper to give a little bit of a distressed look to the wood.

I sprayed the back of the large stencil with the stencil spray (it is a temporary glue spray) and let it dry of about a minute. Then, I added the stencil on top of the painted surface.

Using the small round foam brush, I added the brown paint on the stencil. I used the bouncing motion to add the paint on each letter. If you don't have foam brush, make sponge will work great, too.

After I covered the whole letters, I let it dried. I added the second layer of paint for bolder, solid look.

I let it dried completely and then removed the stencil. I washed the stencil with warm water and mild dish soap right away.

I decorated this pumpkin pallet wood with some of the fall colored plastic flowers using glue gun.

I put the finished pumpkin pallet wood on our mantle with the other Fall/Thanksgiving decor I have. I love the size of this large pallet is perfect for the mantle!
