Jingle all the way pallet

Hey, Clear Scraps friends! Leah here with you today sharing my take on another crafty homemade Christmas home decor sign using Clear Scraps Medium Rectangle Pallet and the Large Jingle all the way stencil.

I started off by painting just the edges of the pallet in red. I knew I wanted a small border all around the paper edges I would be adhering to.

Since the length of the sign is over 16", I just cut two strips of pattern paper 2" x 12" and overlapped and cut off the excess.

I also knew before I stenciled that I wanted to line up "all the way" part of the stencil inside each horizontal line. So I started by stenciling 'Jingle' and 'the', and then moved the stencil into the place where I wanted the other words to be.

Howto4_JingleAllTheWay_LeahCrowe After I had stenciled I realized I had done so on textured pattern paper. It still looks cute, but some of the stencilings was not as smooth as I liked. To help that out a little, I outlined the words in a black pen, just to help it jump off the background a bit. Next, I added floral pieces, twine, ribbon, and decorative jingle bells to dress this baby up!
