Hello! Jennifer here to share some easy ornaments I created using two of the Christmas themed Mini Shaker Shapes! I used the same technique on both Shakers which I will share with you!
First up is the new Snow Globe Mini Shaker! I absolutely love this shape as you can create a Christmas or winter themed Shaker.
Each Mini Shaker comes with 5 pieces: a chipboard base, three chipboard frames, and an acrylic piece. Here, I painted my top chipboard frame and the outside edges of the remaining chipboard with chalk paint in red.
Next, using Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive, I affixed my patterned paper to the top portion of the chipboard base. I used scissors and a sanding tool to remove any excess paper.
Again using my Beacon Adhesive, I adhered two of my chipboard frames together and affixed it on top of the base.
From my stash, I placed coordinating sequins in the center of my shaker. I then applied my adhesive around the edges of the chipboard frame followed by affixing my acrylic. Lastly, I adhered the top chipboard frame.
To accent, I adhered die cut embellishments to the bottom portion of the shaker.
I used the Present Mini Shaker to create my second ornament which I backed with red gingham patterned paper.
For this ornament, I used white chalk paint on the chipboard frames and base. As I mentioned before, I used the same technique on this as I did on the first.
For both ornaments, I affixed twine to the back to create a hanger as well as added a small swatch of ribbon. For this particular ornament, I tied in a metal charm for accent.
Thank you for stopping by the blog today! I hope this inspires you to create with the Clear Scraps Mini Shakers! Have a great day!
