Clear Scraps Project Post

For today project, I used one of the new Desktop Wood Word Frames. 

I started with stamping the sentiment directly on the wood using Memento Luxe Ink Pad with acrylic block. It is a mixed media ink, you can also use any pigment ink that will work on all surfaces.

After the ink dried, I used my wood burning tool to trace the words. Wood burning is one of my favorite technique to work with wood. It gives the wood extra texture.

I traced the wood word and both bases on scrapbook papers. After that, I cut the paper with scissors. And then I used decoupage glue to add the patterned papers on the wood word and base plates. I applied another thin layer on top of the papers to seal them. Set aside to dry.

I added extra wood-burn dots around the heart frame and then added it on top of the heart with wood glue. I embellished it with some mini roses and twine bow. I used glue gun to add them on the wood frame.

I love all the new Desktop Wood Word Frames. They are perfect for desk decor at the office and home, even it will make perfect gift.
