DIY Wood Shapes Dog set

Hi, again friends!! Leah here with you today sharing my take on this cute NEW Wood Shapes set.

You could turn this into a mini-album, but when I saw it, I thought about a lovely home decor piece that I could hang to memorialize all the furry family members we've had over the years.

To start, I painted the paw print frame shape white and then distressed around the edges with distress ink. I also applied pattern paper to the bone, paw print back and heart shape.

Using a Crop O' Dile I punched holes at the top of the bone, the center bottom of the bone, the center top of the heart, the center bottom of the heart, and center top of the paw print back (before you adhere the frame on)

Once the holes are punched, using wire I had on hand (30 gauge, I actually would have preferred something a little more sturdy gauge wise) I attached all the pieces.

Before I adhered the paw print frame, I used the frame so I could place the vinyl exactly where I wanted it by hinging the vinyl to the contact paper. Once I had the phrase positioned exactly where I wanted it, I was able to remove the frame and apply the vinyl without it moving on me. I then adhered the frame and place my photos inside the paw prints.

I printed out lots of little photographs of my furry babies, adding pop dots to the back of the photo to place throughout the sign.

I embellished with lots of ribbon and flowers.
