Happy March Clear Scraps fam! Leah here with you today sharing a new release item, the Heart XL Wood Puzzle Shape!

My wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of this month, we're celebrating 17 years of marriage and I thought this would be a sweet way to show hubby how much he means to me.

I started by adhering pattern paper to each individual puzzle piece and then sanded the edges down so the pieces would fit back together smoothly.

I didn't want any glue to show when adhering this puzzle shape, and since this was made for a home decor piece, I didn't want it coming apart. I adhered the puzzle as a whole onto two spare pattern papers on the backside. This gave the puzzle shape stability too.

It looks a little funky, but totally worked! I cut away the excess and I then used my crop o dile to attach my hanging element of twine.

I also used a new chipboard butterfly embellishment that I colored with Distress Oxide Ink.

I popped up my photograph on pop dots then arranged the title block and embellishments around the heart to create movement.
