Paw Mini Shaker Layout

Hello and happy Monday!  Jennifer here today to share a layout I  created using one of the new Mini Shaker Shape!  We adopted a dog from a local rescue this past January and I  wanted to scrap a photo of him! The Paw Mini Shaker Shape makes the perfect embellishment!

I  used black acrylic paint to cover the top frame of my Mini Shaker as well as the edges of the two middle frames.

Using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive, I  adhered patterned paper to the base chipboard of the shaker.  I  cut away excess paper with scissors followed by using my x-acto knife.  I  then used a sanding tool to smooth edges around my shape.

Before I  finished assembling my shaker, I  added tiny star and heart sequins to the open spaces of the shaker.  Next, I  adhered the acrylic piece followed by the top chipboard frame.  Using a solvent based adhesive such as Beacon works best with the acrylic and chipboard. I  also used my Beacon to adhere my shaker to the page to ensure it would stay put.

I  used this fun title cut on my Silhouette and backed with patterned paper. I  even left a few letters blank to allow the background paper to show through. I  adhered the entire title down again with my Beacon Adhesive.

Here are two close ups of my layout showing additional embellishments as well as my cute dog's face!
