Clear Scraps Project Post

Tami here with another project featuring Clear Scraps and our cross promo company this month —-TapeRunner.

June is “the” month for weddings, and I have a perfect card for the occasion.

Earlier this month, I did a tag with a foil technique that utilized the TapeRunner. While planning out this card, I wondered if the TapeRunner would be an easy way to create a glitter background for the Chipboard Basket that I wanted to use. I tried it out an a scrap piece of cardstock and it worked beautifully!

I painted the basket white and outlined it with a gold glitter gel pen. My card base was white cardstock and the mat was a piece of cream toned printed paper. 

I also used the TapeRunner to adhere all the pieces of the card together…

I used off white paper flowers to fill the basket, and I used the TapeRunner to adhere them as well…

I wrote the sentiment on a scrap of white cardstock using the gold gel pen and also used the pen to add centers to the flowers and to outline the edge along the printed paper.

A white and gold twine bow was the finishing touch. I love the classic look of white and ivory for weddings; there is something romantic with a touch of vintage when those colors are used together.
