Hello crafty friends and happy December! Have you started your Christmas cards yet? Maya here on the blog today sharing this Christmas bulb shaker card (6.5 x 5 inches) featuring the Mini Shaker Bulb. Let's check the process pictures!
▼ The shaker bulb package comes with 5 layers, including 1 chip back, 3 chip forms and 1 acrylic divider. I decided to emboss the top layer for a shine. After tapping the bulb on the Versamark ink pad, I applied a coat of embossing powder (emerald color) and heated it with a heat gun.
▼ Here I traced the bulb to a paper with title, cut it and glued the paper to the chip back.
▼ Then I glued the other layers to build up the depth for the sequins. After I'm satisfied with the amount of sequins I put in, I glued the acrylic divider to cover the bulb. Last, I glued the embossed layer on the top to finish the shaker!
▼ For the background decoration, I cut 2 patterned papers from the collection and adhered them to a white card. I also used some stickers and chipboard accents for extra touches.
