Hey there everyone! Laura here to share with you today! Winter and the holidays are
coming soon, we can always celebrate and let people know we are thinking about them
with a great card! Clear Scraps mini shakers are the perfect size to create super cute cards!
Isn't this little snowman card adorable! It's a lot easier than it looks too! Start with the
Snowman Mini Shaker from Clear Scraps. You can find a lot of great shapes to choose
from too if you check the store HERE. To create this cute lil' guy, start with the top and
bottom layers. You can cover them with paint, paper, ink, whatever you'd like.
The bottom piece on the left, I traced on a pretty patterned paper, and then cut out
and glued down on the base. The top piece, I painted with white acrylic paint on the
body of the snowman, and black for the hat. To give it a little fun sparkle, I used a little
stickles. Then when dry, I started to put together all the layer pieces of the shaker.
Before I added the acrylic piece I used some of the brand new Sprinkles
Winter Flake Mix in the Clear Scraps store, I added a few small pearl beads I had,
but there is a winter mix in the store with pearls already in it HERE.
The little red scarf was just a couple of long triangle shaped slivers of red cardstock,
and I cut little slits to make a fringe, then overlapped and glued them down. A simple
couple of layers of cardstock and patterned paper on a white cardstock base, and a
bit of twine and enamel dots, and it's all done! Super easy and a great card to send
to a friend or family member to let them know you're thinking about them!
Thanks for stopping by today! Stop back soon for more inspiration!!
