Hello everyone! It's Maya on the blog today sharing this butterfly shaker card to welcome upcoming spring. Below are the process pictures of how I created this greeting card using the mini butterfly shaker and sprinkles heart confetti. Let's check it out!
The card size is 6.5 x 5 inches. First, I went for two different patterned papers for the background and adhered with double sided tape. I also added a strip of white lace ribbon for a extra touch.
▼ The shaker package comes with 5 layers, including 1 chip back, 3 chip forms and 1 acrylic divider. I traced the chip back on a patterned paper and cut out.
▼ After I adhered the cut out to the chip back, I added a joy sticker to the paper.
▼ Next, I used Zip Dry glue to adhere 2 chip foams to the butterfly.
▼ Here, I placed the sequins and confetti to the butterfly. Next is to glue the acrylic divider to cover the butterfly (Remember to remove the protective films on the acrylic divider). Then, I glued the last chip form on top of the divider. This time I decided not to give the top chip form any color, I just kept the original chipboard color. I love how it turned out!
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you enjoy making cards with the shakers as much as I do. You may check out all the shakers by clicking HERE. Have a wonderful day!
