Clear Scraps Project Post

For our project today, I chose the Chipboard Slimline album Scallop. I'm also using Clear Scraps Blessed Chipboard Words. Click Here

To start our project, we will first be covering all base pages with papers and then go back and decorate the cover as well as all the inside pages of our album.  I'm using Crate paper "Fresh bouquet" paper collection.  I used a pink polka dot paper for both the front and back cover of my album.  I cut both papers to measure 5 & 1/2 x 11 inches. I used xacto knife to trim my scalloped edges as well as a distress tool to smooth the scalloped edge.  Be sure to mark and punch your holes before gluing them to your pages. Continue this for all remaining album pages.

Now to decorate the cover,  I chose a  floral paper and cut slightly smaller than my base paper. Added foam dots to the back and adhere on top of your previous paper.  Then take some light pink cardstock and diecut a frame and glued my bunny journaling card behind my frame. Adhere to the center of your cover using foam dots. I added bloom with Grace sentiment stickers and pop dots to 3 hearts stickers and scattered them at the top of my album cover. I adhered a Prima flower, and foam flowers stickers on each side of my larger flower.  Then took a butterfly sticker and glued it down onto the bottom left corner of my frame. I brushed some Luna paste Moonlight pearl onto my flower petals. Added a bit of Stickles Stardust glitter to the butterfly wings!

 Now to decorate my inside pages:

Page 1 : I made a pocket page, added a sentiment sticker at the top left hand corner, pop dot a flower sticker on left side of my pocket. Tucked in a few journaling cards inside my pocket. For page 2: I made a side pocket that measures 3 x 8 inches, punch hole and adhere to the left side. I cut another smaller pocket at 2 & 1/2 x 4 & 1/2 inches and adhered on top of my side pocket.   Tucked a floral tag insidw my smaller pocket. Tucked in a few journaling cards  inside my side pocket. Added a sentiment sticker at the bottom.  

For page 3: I took my Clear Scraps Blessed Chipboard word and brushed some Glitteriffic Copper and let dry.  Meanwhile I made a photo mat cut at 4 x 5 inches from black/white cardstock. Adhere this in center of your page. Glue your Blessed chipboard word above photo mat. Add a bow sticker at the bottom.  Page 4: I added anotger photo mat, sticker sentiment, foam flower sticker. Fussy cut a butterfly from one of my journaling cards, inked the edges and glued at the upper right corner of my photo mat.

Page 5: I made a flip page cut at 4 & 3/4 x 7 inches, scored 1/2 inch on the right side. Then adhered it down on the right side of page. I added a bunny journaling card in the center of my flip page. Adhered a 3d foam sticker at the bottom. Under my flip page I added a photo mat and s sticker sentiment at the bottom of my mat. Page 6: I made another pocket page, pop dot a journaling card on top. Tucked some other cards inside the pocket and added a foam heart sticker in the upper right corner. 

For my last two pages  I made another flip page  and a pocket page.

To finish my album, I tied ribbon and some tulle to attach my pages together. I also added a pink tassel and bunny charm!
