Hello! It's Jennifer on the blog today to share a mini book I created! I've been missing traveling and vacations for the past year but its fun to document favorite trips! We were able to take our kids to Orlando a few years ago and the Mouse Chipboard Album was perfect for my photos!
There are five total pages which I painted both sides with black acrylic paint. Chipboard can also be inked, stamped, or covered in paper-or a combination of your choice!
I used my Silhouette to cut 5 3/4 inch circles to cover the main portion of my pages. For some like this, I cut my circles in half and covered the bottom portion of the page. I also found it was best using my Beacon 3-in-1 Adhesive to adhere paper directly to the chipboard.
I also found that 4×4 or 4×5 photos fit best as the "head" portion of the album is approximately 6 inches. I did trim my pictures down to mat onto white cardstock as well as added patterned paper behind for extra color.
The album comes with two pre-drilled holes for you to place book rings or ribbon. I chose the latter and threaded some bright yellow ribbon around the top book ring for accent.
Thanks for stopping by the blog! You can see all of the albums by clicking HERE! Have a great day!
