Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a beautiful floral panel using wood and chipboard elements.
With the assorted wood pallets available at Clear Scraps, there are so many projects you can create from albums to frames to home decor pieces.

Starting with a wood rectangle panel from the Wood Rectangle 3 Pack, I cut blue foiled paper slightly smaller than the panel.
I left a little edge of the wood panel to show.
At 6 1/2" x 9 1/2", this is a great size to use as a wall hanging.

Placing the 4×6 Grass Stencil on the foil, I used Rinea Ghost Ink along both edges of the panel.
Ghost Ink removes some of the color from the foil.  

The Grass Stencil added different sized lengths along the panel.
I wanted to add a pattern to the background, but I didn't want it to be overpowering, so this effect created a nice background.
Then I adhered the foil to the wood panel.

I created a very large flower from foiled paper and assembled it with a large brad.
I then placed the flower on the panel.

I chose the Life is Good chipboard word title, inking it with pink ink.
I also embossed it to give it a shiny effect.
At approximately 2" x 4", it was perfectly sized for the panel.

Finally, I used a crop-a-dile to easily punch holes in the panel and threaded ribbon through to use a the hanger.
