Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi there everybody!  Laura is here with you today, and can you believe that summer

is right around the corner?  And even better–it's Clear Scraps new release time!

Adorable newness is here in the store!  You can find details under the "What's New"

tab on the website, and today I've got a project to share, using the new 3D Frameables!

These new frames are a blast to create with!  You choose your base, I chose to use the

base with the deco frame, which you can find HERE.  I decided to paint it using gray

acrylic paint, and then dabbed on some white paint to give the frame a distressed

farmhouse look.  I used paint on the base also, but you could trace this onto some

pretty patterned paper and cut it out to fit as well.  Next up was to decide which set

of extras to use.  I used the Word n Shape Welcome Jar.  Perfect with these farmhouse

patterned papers and stickers too!

Here you can see the frame a little better.  I also painted the word "welcome" using

black acrylic paint.  It really makes the word pop against the background.

And then that adorable little jar!!  So many things you can do here, I just kept it

simple.  I painted the jar with blue and gray acrylic paint, brushed on a little black

soot distress ink, and then added paper and a sticker so it looks a little

and a sticker, so its a little like a "label" on the jar.  Twine and a sweet tag finish

off this little embellishment and then the frame was finished off with some

patterned paper and stickers–or you can always pop a picture in there too!

Then you slide all the pieces right into your base.  So easy, so cute!
