Maple Leaf Shaker Card

Hello hello crafty friends! It's Maya here on the blog today to share a fall greeting card featuring the Mini Shaker Maple Leaf and 6" Fall Leaves Stencil. It's just so beautiful to see the leaves changing colors in the autumn season!

▼ I chose the cardstock with size 5" x 6.5". I started by adding the 6" Leaves stencil on top of the card, securing it with low-tack tape, and then adding the Oxide Distress inks (scattered straw & ripe persimmon) on the card with the round blending tool.

▼ Here is the finished look after adding the inks to the background.

▼ Next, I added a piece of orange patterned paper and a piece of red lace ribbon to enrich the background.

▼ For the maple leaf shaker, I started by tracing the shape on patterned paper, cutting it out, and adhering the cut-out piece on the chipboard back as the background. Next, I adhered two layers of chipboard forms to the back, placed the confetti, and glued the layer of the acrylic divider. Using the watermark ink, embossing powder, and heat gun, I gave the top chipboard form a coat of red embossing powder.

▼ Here is the finished look of the shaker. Absolutely love the shiny look and the maple red from the embossing powder!

▼ I also fussy cut out some elements from the autumn collection of P13 Paper Products to decorate around the card.
