Hi there everyone!! Today I've got a sweet, simple little project that would make an excellent gift idea–even as favors or place settings for a holiday get-together!
This super cute little project starts with one of the adorable Cutting Board Shiplap Shapes Small from the Clear Scraps Store.
These are so fun to create with! And there are different shapes as well. You can find them all in the Clear Scraps Store HERE. This is a piece that you can be as creative as you'd like using paint, ink, stamps, stencils, so many options and possibilities with these! For this one, I wanted to keep it super simple–because then you could make multiples quickly so you can have them on hand for gifts! It's simply brushed with white acrylic paint, left to dry a bit, then start to decorate!
I added a few scraps of paper as an "anchor" spot for the cutie stickers. I layered them using foam tape to give a little dimension, then added some enamel dots for a fun accent around the stickers. Around the neck of the mini cutting board, I added a little organza ribbon bow with a couple of tags and twine. The bottom edge has a sticker over a paper strip.
This project was so quick and easy! Wouldn't it be cute at each place setting for a Christmas tea, or to give each participant in a cookie exchange! Lots of great ideas, this project is just a little jump start to get your creative juices flowing for your own ideas for your own occasions!
