Hello crafters, it’s Jennifer here with a quick, easy and beautiful home decor that you can use as a photo holder using the Large heart shiplap

Steps

First I painted the heart with white gesso

Next, I used this beautiful tissue paper that was wrapped around my Christmas presents, I cut pieces that were the same width and a few inches longer than each section. Then I put a layer of modge podge on the wood, laid the paper on top and added a layer of modge podge on top of the tissue paper. Once dry, using a file, I removed any access paper around the edges and in between each section.

I then grabbed some Prima- Finnabair Metallique Wax- vintage gold and added some to the heart. You can use your fingers, sponge brush or paint brush to apply, I use my fingers. I also added some to the shutter (Prima Parisian Art Shutters).

Finally I gathered some lace, metal flowers and leaves, paper flowers, and art stones to decorate the heart. I laid the lace down first. I then glued the shutters and added more lace, flowers and art stones around the shutters. I glued a clip to the center of the shutters to hold a small photo.
