Love tab album

Hello and Happy crafting. I had this beautiful paper collection by 49th and Market, Spectrum Gardenia, that I was waiting for something special to make. I used the Chip layer tab album    to make an album for my daughter. I love how the colors mix well together, the bright and bold shades and how everything flowed together.

For all base pages, I traced, cut, trimmed with an exacto knife, filed the edges with a file and inked using brown Stazon ink. Make sure you punch the holes after gluing each page down.

After adding the base page, I gathered a few different lengths and types of ribbon to add to the page. After gluing I added different chipboard pieces from the collection.

I glued the base page down. Then I tore some purple paper, inked and glued the bottom and sides only to the base page to create a pocket. Next, I cut a 3.5×3.5 piece of printed paper, inked the edges on both sides and glued a small piece of ribbon to the upper left corner. I added some colored cabochons to the right side of the pocket. Finally, I tucked it into the pocket and added the chipboard pieces to the outside of the pocket.

After gluing the base page, I cut a 4.5×4.5 piece of red paper, inked and glued it to the right side.  Next, I grabbed a small piece of fun ribbon with Pom poms and added it to the bottom of the red piece, tucked in a couple of heart pins and topped it off with “the very best” chipboard circle. Finally, I embellished the left side with the hearts, butterfly and “my heart” chipboard pieces.

I think this is my favorite page. I love the colors and the blue flowers. After gluing the base page I gathered some misc ribbon, Prima flowers and those fun colored mini cabochons. I layered the ribbons and glued the flowers on top. I added the cabochons to the right of the ribbon. Finally, I added the “always” chipboard to the bottom.

After gluing the base page I cut and tore a 2.5x 4 piece and glued it on the side and bottom only to create a pocket. I cut 3 small 3×2 rectangles, inked both sides and glued a piece of ribbon to the top. These are great for mini photos and /or journaling. Next, I glued some flowers to the left side and added the “best friends” chipboard to the pocket.

On top of the base page I cut a piece of black and white ribbon in half and glued it under the opposite sides of the light printed paper (3×4). I like to do this so that I don’t waste ribbon and have it hiding behind other paper. I added some chipboard embellishments, a flower and a piece of fun red ribbon.

On top of the base page I cut a diagonal piece from the same paper and glued the right side and bottom to create a pocket. Next, I added a piece of pink ribbon to the diagonal portion and some chipboard hearts, colored cabochons and “my heart”. Finally I cut 2 tags, inked, and added ribbon and charms.
