Everyone adores strawberries in the summer, don't they?
Hello fellow crafters! Jennifer here again with a new home decor project. I'm absolutely smitten with this adorable strawberry shaker, using the Graphic 45 "Sunshine on My Mind" paper line and these charming cutting boards. They're ideal for creating a speedy gift or stylish home decor piece. After crafting the shaker tag and an album, I repurposed the leftover scraps to create this lovely cutting board.
For the shaker element, I used Shamrock and Fruit Punch Stickles to cover the top part of the shaker piece. While I allowed that to dry, I proceeded by tracing, cutting, and gluing the base of the strawberry shaker to the chipboard base. Then, I added two of the strawberry outline pieces to assemble the shaker. I filled the shaker with resin strawberries, as well as red, pink, green, and white pearls from Queen & Co, along with various green and silver beads. After removing the protective film from the acrylic piece, I glued it to the top of the shaker. Once the Stickles had dried, I attached this piece to complete the shaker.
I hope this project has inspired you to create your own piece of home decor using shakers and cutting boards. This quick and charming project will make a delightful addition to my daughter's kitchen decor for the summer.
