Clear Scraps Project Post

Hi there everyone!  Laura here with you today to get you into that summertime scrapping mode with this LO!!

Who's got those pictures coming in from the pool, the beach, the waterpark, or the lake?  This bright fun LO is perfect for scrapping your summer fun!  The inspiration started with the Clear Scraps Mini Shaker Sunglasses. 

They were painted a bright orange on the top frame.  The back was traced on white with sunshine pattern paper.  After it was cut out, the back solid piece was glued to the back.  Then the plain frame layers were glued down, sequins added, then the acrylic layer and the painted frame.  I added the sentiment to the top as well.  There are a lot of great Mini Shakers in the Clear Scraps store HERE!  Make sure to pop over and peruse all of the different shapes–something for just about any holiday, season or event.  And even some basic shapes so you can create one for truly anything you'd like!  You can also see the cool dot pattern along the side of this LO.  It gives a little pop of color to the plain white cardstock.  It was created using the Clear Scraps 6" Circle stencil.  It was simply brushed on with some distress ink.  Stencils are a great way to create a paper that matches any project!

To finish off the LO a simple title was all that was needed with the fun shaker and the journal card used. 

The Clear Scraps Together Chipboard Word Title is perfect.  It's now all ready for those summer vacay pictures!!  I love having these kinds of LO ready to go for my pics–makes scrapbooking super easy!
